How to care for your leather accessory

Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

For our leather pieces we source the finest Italian leathers from renowned and certified tanneries in Italy. Our collection includes leather that is termed as ‘Vegetable tanned leather’. 

‘Vegetable tanned leather’ refers to the tanning technique that involves using natural vegetable tannins to create the leather. Tannins such as tree bark, leaves, fruit and roots are utilised, meaning this process only uses natural and organic substances vs other industry methods which incorporate chemicals to their tanning process. 

This tanning method is time consuming and requires highly skilled crafters to carry out the process over the course of several months. But the end result is worth the time taken as you’re left with leather which is natural, durable and only gets better with age.
